OK so lately I feel like my brain is turning into mommy mush! I need some serious mental stimulation! I would like to read a good book, but for some reason I can't seem to find one that interests me.
So, this is where I need your help! What book would you recommend? What is your all-time favorite book and why?

How about the short stories of Edgar Allan Poe or Sherlock Holmes (Authur Conan Doyle)? Bite-sized (to read between feedings) and far-removed (to escape from naps 'n nappies).

I highly recommend any book of Ane Perry's, but if you start at the beginning of a series you'll enjoy them even more. So I'd say start with "The Face of a Stranger," for the William Monk series, or "The Cater Street Hangman" for Thomas and Charlotte Pitt.
These are murder mysteries in a highly accurate Victorian scene, no dirty stuff or talk. You'll enjoy them. Her website: http://www.anneperry.net/
Our love to the other three Bengstons there also.
hi Sweeties, I love the photos..so love to see you. I wanted to leave my favorite books also. I really enjoyed Beverly Lewis' books set in authentic Amish settings. And they continued book to book, this I enjoy. The library orders them in for us.
Also: we enjoyed reading Gilbert Morris' books, are Christian novels like the Winslow series that continue from book to book. background is authentic, we enjoy that. Love you so much, grma hawk
